Addicted to vampire bites?

Well,I've been thinking lately.Since B the witch has put up a spell on the tomb which holds Katherine and any vampires in,why don't Elena just stay there in the tomb,like a bait to catch the vampires and Klaus?Because Steffan is there to protect Elena from Katherine.She'll be protected,right?And when all the other vampires know that she's in there,they will enter the tomb and be trapped in it forever.with that,no one gets hurt.end of story.hahaha.only after that then,B the witch figure a way out to take Steffan out.simple.
